Cellular Specialties is a privately-held company providing over ten years of in-building communication solutions in North America. We are currently seeking a Designer to join our creative Custom Solutions team in Manchester, New Hampshire. This individual will be responsible for generating accurate computer aided designs for cost-effective Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS). The purpose of the DAS system is to enhance RF coverage within buildings and structures in order to meet specific customer requirements. Visit our company website www.cellularspecialties.com. Job Responsibilities:
• System design of complex wireless systems for customer facilities which will be installed by an Installation Team.
• Generate accurate designs via CAD software.
• Prepare Bill of Materials.
• Conduct pre and post verification with customer and internal technical and sales team in order to clarify and fulfill customer requirements.
• Prepare estimate of design time and update database with design information.
• Provide written description of design approach, methodology and coverage targets
• Support proposals with technical information
• Prioritize and manage design queue for assigned territory.
Knowledge & Skills:
• Ability to read and interpret facility and architectural drawings
• Technical knowledge of electronics and general knowledge of Radio Frequency technology.
• Fiber Optic technology desirable.
• Ability to use CAD software.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated teamwork skills.
