We are seeking a survey crew chief that will be responsible for conducting topographic, boundary, construction staking and ALTA/NSPS surveys and performing routine survey and engineering computations. The position requires proficiency with data collectors, data collection techniques, data processing, conventional field note, total stations and leveling. Experience operating RTK and GPS equipment is a plus. We are also seeking an instrument operator who will be assisting with daily field crew operations.
Job requirements include a various range of physical activities including, but not limited to: standing for prolonged periods, walking, cutting tree limbs, shoveling, lifting and carrying approximately 40 lbs equipment in all types of terrain and weather conditions year round. Applicants with experience with AutoCAD, Carlson and Deed Research would be preferable, but not a requirement.
