Directs and conceptualizes all Internet page creative and design and associated web marketing programs, materials and e-commerce promotional launches to achieve sales goals and reinforce the Brookstone brand. Ensures that all projects are undertaken with implicit knowledge of all requirements and goals and that the process and deliverables fall within the guidelines of both budgetary and creative expectations.
Works collaboratively with Creative Directors, Writers, other Art Directors, eCommerce team and developers to formulate unique and compelling presentations, while maintaining established graphic standards and guidelines.
Strong creative background with experience in both tech-related and traditional media is essential. Experience analyzing consumer web usage and consumer behavioral patterns and trends is desirable. Experience marketing to the internet-savvy consumer is highly desirable.
Must have a good design eye and be able to code within major eCommerce platforms, including Demandware.
E-Commerce Project leader
Responsible for the art direction, design and maintenance of all online creative materials including the entire eCommerce website (landing pages, category pages, homepage, etc.) affiliate marketing, display advertising, email and all social media channels both organic and paid, and supporting any emerging digital mediums. Provide leadership for the internal creative team, producing all digital creative assets, while maintaining brand identity. Implement responsive design and translate to mobile experience. Develop concepts and strategic direction in collaboration with Creative Director.
Along with Creative Directors, manage Web Design workflow; assigning, prioritizing and reprioritizing work to ensure on-time delivery of projects.
•Bachelor of Arts Degree in a Graphic Arts program or equivalent experience.
•4 years experience as Art Director or Designer (e-commerce) including commercial experience in retail, catalog, direct marketing and photo direction.
•Demonstrate diverse graphic and typographic style.
•Experience in Specialty Brand Design and Marketing.
•Experience analyzing consumer web usage and consumer behavioral pattern
