New Hampshire - Jobs for America’s Graduates (NH-JAG) is seeking a dynamic Youth Specialist to implement the NH-JAG Out-of-School model at our Manchester Community College location. Serve 30 youth between the ages of 16-24 in a healthcare focused training and employment program for students who are not attending school and lack the skills and training necessary to secure quality jobs. Provide the appropriate mentoring and community linkages necessary to overcome barriers. Assist students in entrance into occupational training programs and paid work experiences in collaboration with healthcare training providers and employers.
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, or related field preferred. Able to work effectively and efficiently with youth, educators and employers.
This is a temporary part-time hourly position beginning immediately through June 2017.
Starts at 30 hours per week, $17/hour with the potential to transition to full time in July 2017. There is significant travel so reliable transportation is required.
