Growing Tax & Accounting office looking for a permanent Part-Time experienced tax preparer with bookkeeping experience.
We are looking for a well-rounded, experienced tax preparer with bookkeeping experience. This position will focus on preparing personal tax returns, which includes Schedule C & Schedule E forms. Must have a PTIN# and the ability to communicate with clients. The individual would also be responsible for assisting in the bookkeeping process for multiple companies across many industries using various versions of QuickBooks desktop, as well as QuickBooks online.
The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:
4+ years of recent tax preparation and review experience.
Competency in QuickBooks (3 - 5 years minimum), Excel and tax preparation software (Lacerte a plus)
Full Charge bookkeeping experience preferred, but not required
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently
